Newly Admitted Scholarship Students

  1. “High School/University Connected Cross-departmental Admissions Exam” Special Selection Scholarship Student System Those persons recommended by the university president from among the top scoring applicants who have passed the “High School/University Connected Cross-departmental Admissions Exam” (up to 2 persons).
  2. “Standard First-semester Admissions Exam” Standard Selection Scholarship Student System [Scholarship A] Those persons recommended by the university president from among the top scoring applicants who have passed the “Standard First-term Admissions Exam” for the Undergraduate School of Arts and the School of Education (up to 5 persons).
All tuition fees, educational enhancement fees,
and laboratory fees are exempt.
(only for the first school year)
  1. “Standard First-semester Admissions Exam” Standard Selection Scholarship Student System [Scholarship B] Those persons recommended by the university president from among the top scoring applicants who are NOT eligible for the “Standard First-term Admissions Exam: Scholarship Student System [Scholarship A]” for the Undergraduate School of Arts and the School of Education (up to 13 persons).
  2. “Company Employee,” “Students Returning from Abroad,” and “International Students” Special Selection Scholarship Student System Those persons recommended by the university president from among the top scoring applicants on the “Company Employee Admissions Exam,” “Admissions Exam for Students Returning from Abroad,” and “International Students Admissions Exam” for the Undergraduate School of Arts and the School of Education (up to a total of 5 persons: “Company Employee Admissions Exam (first- and second-term),” “Admissions Exam for Students Returning from Abroad (first- and second-term),” and “International Students Admissions Exam (first- and second-term)”).
    Those persons who have integrity and high ambitions in their studies, who have a clearly superior academic record or who have a strong record in specialized academic arts, etc., and who have been deemed to serve as a model for other students. Only current undergraduate students in their second to fourth years in the Undergraduate School of Arts and the School of Education and graduate students in the second year of their graduate studies are eligible (up to 21 persons).
All tuition fees, educational enhancement fees,
and laboratory fees are reduced to a total of ¥500,000 annually.

Previously Admitted Scholarship Students

Those persons who have integrity and high ambitions in their studies, who have a clearly superior academic record or who have a strong record in specialized academic arts, etc., and who have been deemed to serve as a model for other students. Only current undergraduate students in their second to fourth years in the Undergraduate School of Arts and the School of Education and graduate students in the second year of their graduate studies are eligible (up to 21 persons). All tuition fees, educational enhancement fees, and laboratory fees are exempt. (for the full year in which the student was recommended as a scholarship student)
